Sustainable Products

We have become experts in the setting-up and launch of cottage industries over the last few years. Small industries like the silk and weaving & basketry projects have helped provide supplementary incomes for many families; providing them with sustainable livelihoods that don't have a negative impact on the environment around them. After all the hard work and commitment of the women's associations involved we are very pleased to announce that the fruits of their labour are now available to share with the world. So why not have a browse on our partners online shops and perhaps pick up a unique handmade gift that gives back!

Basketry and Weaving

Feedback Madagascar and Ny Tanintsika catalysed the creation of the women’s association ‘Soamiray’ in Ambohimahamasina to develop basketry into a sustainable & income-generating activity. Over 70 women work in 11 workshops spread over different villages. There products are now ready for the international market and can be purchased through our partner Hazomanga's website & at their boutique in Antananarivo

Wild Silk Products

Feedback Madagascar and Ny Tanintsika support women's groups and promote income-generating activities through the revitalisation of the silk industry in Madagascar which for many reasons had greatly decreased towards the end of the 20 th century. Sale of these beautiful native silk scarves supports both the conservation of the native woodlands and the traditional handicraft of these scarves, as well as providing a sustainable source of income for the women who make them. You can purchase them online through our partners:

The association's products are available for purchase at the boutique alongside the silk workshop which offers visitors a chance to watch craftsmen and women at work; spinning, dyeing and weaving traditional cloths.

The workshop offers guided visits, demonstrations, apprenticeships as well as trainings for amateurs and professionals. Behind is the restaurant, serving Malagasy and European dishes, and a large courtyard.
